Basketball

This year, Knox have split girl's and boy's basketball over two nght due to the large numbers attending training.

Girl's basketball is being coached by Miss Crighton from the PE dept. and Mr Ferrieman from Geography. Training is on a Tuesday from 4-5.30pm.

Boy's basketball is once again being coached by parent Tam Munro who continues to give up his valuable time to coach basketball at the school. Training is on a Thursday from 4-5pm.

Knox are extremely lucky to have coaches in place with the experience of both playing and coaching for many years. Pupils should take advantage of this as teams are always looking for new players - why not go along and try out? We might have the next Michael Jordan waiting to be discovered! 

NEWS FLASH:

Knox is working hard to secure fixtures for all teams before the end of the year. The S1 boys and girls squads recently took part in a small tournament at Preston Lodge High School. The boys team lost their match against Musselburgh 16-10, but won against Ross High 14-6. The girls put in an excellent performance, defeating Preston Lodge 26-8.
