Tom Birrell of 5L3 achieved first place at the Leith Home Boxing Show in October.
Tom was competing in the Light Welter Weight (64kg) stage.
The 1st round didn't go quite to plan for him, but he won with a knockout in the 3rd round.
A big congratulations to Tom and we wish him the best of luck for any future competitions!

Aimee Broomfield, Rowan Bland, Rhona Taylor and Kate Farmer (all in 2L3) recently raised £160 for the survivors of the Japanese earthquake/tsunami.
They did a sponsored walk up Traprain Law, organising everything themselves!
Congratulations go to them for their hard work and effort in supporting this cause.
