Although the fortnight break is a time for rest and relaxation, senior pupils should remember that the Preliminary Examination diet commences on Monday 24 January (only 9 school days after the start of term). It is with great regret that we have decided to cancel the evening performance of the Christmas Concert, due to be held tomorrow, Tuesday 21 December. This decision has not been taken lightly and has been made due to the concerns about travel in the predicted below freezing conditions.
The 2 pm afternoon performance will be going ahead tomorrow. Evening tickets can be used for the afternoon performance, however we cannot guarantee that we will have space for all those who may wish to attend, it will be on a first come first serve basis. In the eventuality that evening ticket holders cannot attend/get a seat in the afternoon, a full refund will be available in January.
My apologies for the disappointment this will cause.

Knox Academy is open for pupils today - Monday 20 December 2010
NO SCHOOL BUSES ARE RUNNING

During the S5/6 Parents' Evening on Tuesday 14 December, there will be a Young Enterprise stall on display in the foyer area.
Our team is called ‘Pride of East Lothian’ and we aim to promote and supply the very best that East Lothian has to offer. Everything we sell has been sourced locally and is of the highest quality.
On this evening we will have our limited edition food package on sale for only £10. This is a fantastic last minute gift perfect for a small present this festive period. Alongside our food package we will also have bird feed, wild flower seeds and pot pourri on offer.
Knox Academy Support Group has had a busy year. The Duck Derby and Teas in the Park during the Haddington Festival Week being the highlight. Between these events and The School Dance we have raised approximately £1,500.
This year we have supplied 5 Medical Sports Kit Bags for Active Sports and are about to ask for bids from Departments for equipment not normally covered by their capitation allowance.
