On Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th January our S2 and S3 pupils were involved in workshops delivered by a company called Tree of Knowledge. Tree of Knowledge work within education to develop the best in young learners.  Our workshops were based around the idea of resilliance and the growth mindset. The speaker whi delivered these workshops suggested 2 valuable books at our parent information meeting on Monday evening. The books that the workshops are based around are as follows;

The Drama Department organise trips to a variety of live theatre productions to enhance pupils’ knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of drama.

There will be a performance on Monday 2 February for S2 and S3 pupils, on a first-come-first-served basis.

"HARD-working pupils have been strutting their stuff on the catwalk to raise money for an East Lothian charity.

Clarissa Washington-Mackay and Rachel Dewar, S6 pupils at Knox Academy, raised £187.34 in aid of East Lothian Special Needs Playschemes (ELSNP) after working on the fashion show for a number of months."
