East Lothian Council are investing in a new online payments system, iPayimpact, to help you manage your school-related spending better. You will be able to use the new system from Thursday 31 May 2018. As a necessary part of installing the new system, we need to switch off the existing system you use to make school payments online from Thursday 17 May.
The wall-mounted machines in the school dining area will continue to work during this changeover period, and will continue to work from 31 May 2018. If your child doesn’t have sufficient funds on his/her card to pay for meals from 17 May to 31 May, please give them cash to load their cards using the wall-mounted machines, known as Revos. If you have other items you wish to pay for between 17 May and 31 May, please make your payment in cash at the school office.
We apologise for any disruption caused as a result of this temporary withdrawal of online options. We’ve tried to keep this period as short as possible and hope you will appreciate the greater control and transparency you will benefit from in terms of keeping track of your spending on school-related items when you set up your iPayimpact account.
You will receive a personal invitation by letter over the next few days for you to set up your personal account on iPayimpact. We would encourage you to sign up for your account as soon as possible so this new service is ready for you to use from 31 May 2018.
If you have any queries about this email, or the iPayimpact system in general, please contact me, on 01620 827992 or by email.
