An EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance)  is a weekly payment of £30 paid directly to eligible students who are continuing in post-compulsory education (i.e. beyond the age of 16). Summer leavers ( those born between 1 March 1998 and 30 September 2001) will now have received a pack inviting them to submit their application. We need to receive the completed application into our office by 30 September 2017 – any awards received after this date will not be backdated until the start of term.

Winter leavers, remaining at school who will be eligible for an award from January, will be sent an application form directly by the team in late November. If you need an application form, these are available from the school office, by email...

You will not be allowed to play without your name being on the team sheet.

A reminder that S1-S3 Girls Football starts back this week (on Thursday) straight after school.

Sessions will be run by Senior Coaches with the support of Mr McDonald.

If numbers are good we will be looking to have friendly games shortly after the October Break.

Players should get changed at PE following school and training will be on the grass pitches from 4.15-5.30pm

Following the 1st ever Knox S1&S2 Extra-Curricular Fresher’s Fair last week. We have heard already some great stories from activity leaders about new pupils showing up to activities!

If you haven’t manage to make along to a club that you signed up to yet - there is still this week and next week to do so.

For those a little nervous of turning up…..Get a couple of friends together agree what you want to try – And Go for IT!

Any S1-S3 girl football players (of all abilities) should know that training starts this Thursday after school.

Sessins will be run by senior players and supported by Mr McDonald.

All players interested in these sessions should come to a short meeting at break on Wednesday in the PE Classroom.

The first Eco-Committee meeting of the session will take place on Monday 25 September at lunch time in Miss Laudi's room. If you'd like to get involved in some whole school initiatives to make Knox a more environmentally friendly place, then please come along! And if you didn't approve of last session's eco-memes, then become part of the committee to make this year's Eco-Week even better!

Could all pupils involved in the Model UN group please attend a short meeting at the beginning of break time tomorrow (Wednesday) in my room (RME 1). We now have our third country and so need to discuss papers/groups etc. Thanks.
