Please do so, no later than Friday 3rd May.
All S3 students who are helping Miss Laudi with the P7 Literacy Event today (Tuesday) should register with their period 4 teacher and then come to Mrs. Doig's classroom to have their lunch. Since this is during class time, students will be unable to leave the school building to buy their lunch elsewhere, so students should bring in their own packed lunch.
The latest newsletter from East Lothian Works, containing employment opportunities can be viewed here.
REMINDER: Youth Games parental form and PC1 MUST be handed in on Friday 3rd May if you wish to be considered for the event.
Any pupils who would like to be entered in the Scottish Schools track and field event (7th/8th June) please come to PE to get more information from Miss Borwick by Tuesday 7th May.
All S3 students who are helping Miss Laudi with the P7 Literacy Event on Tuesday 30 April should be aware of the following:
- The event runs from 1pm to 2:45pm.
- S3 volunteers will be participating in the event over their lunch break, which means that they'll have to take their lunch during period 4. S3 volunteers should register with their period 4 teacher and then come to Mrs. Cochrane's class in French to have their lunch. Since this is during class time, students will be unable to leave the school building to buy their lunch elsewhere, so students should bring in their own packed lunch that day.

- S3 volunteers will miss period 5 but they will attend part of period 6.
If you have any questions, please see Miss Laudi.

We are exploring the opportunity of running an Expedition in 2021. Outlook Expedition are a well established company that provide overseas educational expeditions, adventure travel and volunteering projects for schools.
If you click on the link below you will be taken to a survey where you can see three possible destinations and get an idea about what activities might be involved should your young person choose to participate. If there is sufficient interest in an expedition then we would look to hold an information evening at the end of May into early June
For further information you can contact myself at the school, Dr Vicky Lyon.
Reminder that the next New York payment of £300 is due to be paid this Friday 27th April. Please get in touch with Mr Redford if there are any issues with payment.

Do you have any spare clothes hangers at home that you'd be happy to get rid of? If so, please bring them to Miss Laudi or Miss McBride. We're setting up a uniform collection point to support families in our community and hangers would be very useful! Also, if anyone has a portable clothes rack they'd be willing to donate to the school, that would be great too! It's much more sustainable to re-use what's already out there than to buy brand new!
There will be a PGL meeting at break on Wednesday 3 April 2019 in Mr Redford's room. Attendance is essential.
Tomorrow's netball training will be a joint junior and senior session from 4pm-4.45pm.
