Knox Academy were beaten 62-12, by last year's winners of the Scottish Cup, in the semi-final of the U15 girls basketball plate.

St Andrews Secondary, from Glasgow, have a fantastic pedigree in the basketball cup winning and being runners-up for the last two years. They proved too strong for the Knox Academy team in this year's competition out-scoring and out-classing a relatively young team. In comparison Knox field four first years players compared to St Andrews who field four national age grade players.

However, our girls stuck in all the way through the match and battled hard to the end and now know what it takes to become one of the top playing schools. The girls will build on this performance and will be looking to avenge this result, one day.
