You MUST speak to Mr Tait, before adding this to your course choice as there is limited spaces in S4/5/6.

It's a wrap! The Music Department would like to thank the many parents, carers, alumni and community guests for buying tickets to our Evening Christmas Concert. We raised £775 for Knox Academy.

Come along and join us at our Annual Festive Fayre on Saturday 6 December 2025 from 10 am until noon.

Our S1 Business and Administration students have been working hard over the past weeks to organise their teams for this event.

The N5 Retail class have been assisting in the organisation, Kimberley Watson's poster was selected to advertise the Festive Fayre this year. The Retail class will be running the cafe on the day.

Music provided by the Jazz Band and Goats' Toes.

The Instrumental Music Service will be hosting the East Lothian Young Musician of the Year 2025 competition on Thursday 20th March at St Mary's Parish Church in Haddington. The event starts at 7pm. Doors open at 6:40pm.

Knox will be represented by S3 Filip Russel on Bass Guitar and S5 Iris Pathirana on Piano

Please come along and support our musicians as they compete against the other high schools in East Lothian. The winner will go through to the National Finals at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow! 

There will also be music from wind, string, guitar, brass and percussion ensembles. It's an evening not to be missed!
