'Venus' 

Six members of the Knox Academy Glee have decided to create their own sub group/girl band called 'Venus'. The students from S3 - S5 all sound great together and sang Broken Hells by Alexandra Burke for Sport Relief does Glee on BBC.... they find out in November if they have got through to the live rounds... Break a leg! 

 

Glee celebrates in style! 

We sang two amazing songs at the Spring concert... Like a Prayer by Madonna and All Girl Band from the musical A... My Name is Alice. Both songs were really different and showed that we are true Gleeks!

Glee Club doing it for the rock chicks! 

The Glee Club performed two numbers recently at the Christmas concert - True Colours by Cyndi Lauper and a Lady Gaga Medely. We rocked! 

 

 

 

Glee Club makes the National and Local News!

We are only a new club but so far we have been lucky to make the National News on BBC 5 Live and now a feature article in the Edinburgh Evening News (both can be found on the school website)

The Knox Academy Glee Club is a fun and engaging performance Choir that is open to all year groups. We have a fun repertoire of Musical and Pop Songs to sing and dance to. If you are interested in attending come along to the Drama Studio or School Hall at 1.20pm on a Tuesday.
