All pupils have the opportunity to attend a creative writing workshop hosted by author Miranda Moore during period 3 / 4 on Monday 27 October 2025. Please speak to Miss Robertson if you would like to sign up to the workshop.

Miranda will talk about her latest novel 'A Beautiful, Terrible Thing' and will give pupils some tips and tricks on how to start their own writing journey. To find out more about her fantastic book or to buy your own copy please visit this website.
Bus operators will begin strictly enforcing the requirement to present a valid and working Young Scot Card after the October school holiday.
Please ensure that any lost, damaged, or faulty passes have been reordered as soon as possible to avoid disruption to travel.

Edinburgh Airport "Day in the Life"- Session
If you have an interest in taking part in Edinburgh Airport’s “Day in the Life” sessions, please read on.
These are short one day work experience-style opportunities designed to give young people an insight into different roles across the airport campus.
Sessions are aimed at young people aged 15–18 and involve learning experiences with teams
such as HR/Payroll, Fire Service, Vehicle Maintenance, Training, Customer Support and Health & Safety/Environment.
Please speak to myself, Mr Tait in CDT or your Pupil Support Leader. Places are limited.
