This is a fantastic opportunity for Families/Parents/Carers to pop into one of the Neurodiversity Drop Ins with Salveson Mindroom and Families Together East Lothian.

 

The Drop Ins offer friendly supportive advice and information for diagnosed or suspected Neurodiversity; including Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette's Syndrome and ADHD.

Knox Academy reopens to pupils today after yesterday's severe weather.

Parents/Carers are advised to listen to Radio Forth, and keep up-to-date with the East Lothian Council website for infomation regarding future incidents of extreme weather conditions which may result in schools being closed.

Although schools are expected to be open tomorrow (Friday 9 December),  parents/carers are advised to listen to Radio Forth, and keep up-to-date with the East Lothian Council website for infomation regarding tomorrow.

The "Dance another Day" Disco this evening will be re-arranged.

Due to the severe weather warnings for high winds on Thursday afternoon, all East Lothian schools are to close at noon today, Thursday 8 December.

On the advice of the Scottish Government, schools in East Lothian will close early to allow pupils to travel home safely before severe winds hit the area on Thursday afternoon.  All schools will close at 12 noon.

School to home transport arrangements will be put in place for those pupils who normally use this service.

We have arranged for individual photographs to be taken for year groups S3, S4 and S5 on Monday 5 December in order to update our records.

These photographs will be available for purchase by parents/caarers.

Pupils are encouraged to be smartly turned out in school dress code.
