As part of our School Development Plan, we are working on improving links with the local community and developing partnership working with the local community and parents.

As part of this, we would like to gather information on the local community’s perception of the school and its work. We would be grateful if parents/carers and/or members of the local community could answer the questions by clicking this link.

The results will be collated and analysed and will impact on the School Development Plan for Session 2011/2012.

If you haven't already completed the survey we would encourage you to do so - your views are important.

The Survey will remain open until Friday 1 July 2011.

Due to a unfortunate technical glitch it has been necessary to delay the issue of the S1 Reports.  We look forward to being able to issue these reports early next week and regret any inconvenience that this may cause to parents/carers.

There has been some confusion resulting in a number of parents/carers phoning East Lothian Council enquiring about forms to apply for school transport next session.

Transport forms are not being sent out this year as the process is being managed through the new school management information system.

Parents/carers, who completed transport request forma last year and pupils who hold a current 2010-2011 bus pass will be transferred on the system and do not need to contact the council.

It is vitally important that parents and carers keep us up to date with information about pupil absence. If we do not receive verbal notification of absence, pupils will automatically be recorded as "Truancy". If we do not receive a follow-up note/email following telephone notification, pupils will be marked as "To Be Confirmed" which is eventually counted as truancy in our system.

Please remember to give the school a call or drop us an email as soon as you know that your youngster is going to be absent - this is especially important given the number of off-site activities that have been arranged over the next few weeks.

Thank you.
