SCHOLAR are offering a study support session with their Online Tutor for Maths, Margaret Ferguson.
This will take place on Friday 2 May at 1 pm. Please click here to attend the session - you should sign-in as a guest.
Thanks to all the pupils, mums, dads, aunties et al who have helped in finding placements for S3 pupils. We are nearly there, but not quite. Currently we have 24 pupils unplaced and I would urge parents and pupils to get forms signed and handed in to school as soon as possible. After Friday 2nd May we cannot guarantee that placements will be processed in time and pupils may have to remain at school during the placement week. There remain a few placements on the database that can be booked immediately but there are not enough to go around, so if there are forms on kitchen tables, with employers or at the bottom of school bags, please hand them in to the guidance base as soon as possible.
Thanks in anticiaption,
Miss Easson
AUBIGNY-PARIS TRIP MEETING ( for Parents/Carers and pupils) 24/04/2014 at 19.30
We will hold the final information meeting in T1.1 (Ms. McBride’s room) for parents and pupils at 7.30 pm on Thursday 24th April (after the S2 Parents' Evening). This will be an opportunity to watch a presentation of what we will be seeing and doing during the trip and to finalise all travel arrangements. At the meeting we will give you the emergency contact details, and if required, you can ask us questions or pass on any relevant medical details. If there is anything you feel we need to know before then, please write or phone. Attendance at this meeting is essential. Let us know if you can’t make it.
I am pleased that we now have nearly 50 pupils booked on to the website and their placements are secure. We have a few self found forms returned to us, but not nearly enough! Can I ask that parents and carers "chivvy" pupils along to get forms handed in? It's important that employers are given at least a week to complete the form as there is quite a lot of detail that they will not have to hand. Please keep nagging - I am! The final deadline is just the other side of the Easter Holidays - Tuesday 22nd and this is when the completed forms should be with the school. Thanks!
P.S. If you are having difficulty getting hold of an empolyer or a suitable...
