S4-S6: PRELIM EXAMINATION TIMETABLE NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2026

We would like to inform parents, carers and students that the S4-S6 Prelim Examination Diet will take place from Friday 20 November to Thursday 10 December 2026.

The prelim examinations provide students with valuable experience of formal examination conditions and help prepare them for their final assessments later in the academic session.

Students should:

  • Check the attached timetable carefully.
  • Note the date, time and location of each examination.
  • Arrive in good time for all examinations.
  • Bring the required equipment for each subject.
  • Speak to their Guidance Teacher or Class Teacher if they have any questions regarding their examinations.

COST OF LIVING CRISIS - MEASURES AVAILABLE

The cost of living is increasing rapidly and prices are rising at rates we haven’t seen since the 1970s, including energy bills, food, fuel and more.  East Lothian Council has created a leaflet to consolidate information about financial support available to help ease the cost of living challenges faced by many local households.  More information can be found in "Helping with the cost of living crisis leaflet summer 2022". 

HIGH SCHOOL MEALS MENU 2022-2023

There is a choice of delicious food and drinks on sale at Knox Academy dining room every day.  Please see ELC Facilities Management High School Leaflet for more details of what is available and how to pay for school meals.
