Since 1999, over 10,000 pupils and teachers have taken part in the Holocaust Educational Trust's groundbreaking Lessons from Auschwitz Project.
Based on the premise that 'hearing is not like seeing', this four-part course explores the universal lessons of the Holocaust and its relevance for today. The LFA Project aims to increase knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust for young people and to clearly highlight what can happen if prejudice and racism become acceptable.

read more...Well done to all pupils involved in the Spring Concert last night - an excellent performance.
This was another demonstration of the incredible talent presented by pupils at Knox Academy.
Due to the poor weather, tonight's Spring Concert has been postponed.
It will now take place on Tuesday 20 April at 7 pm.
The Big Bang: National Science and Engineering Awards
Last May Knox Academy entered a team of S2 students in the Young SET (Science, Engineering and Technology) Ambassadors Challenge, which was run in conjunction with Edinburgh University. The team won this event, beating schools from across the Lothians. The same team (Kelvin Craig, Gareth Evans, Conor McHugh, Gabby Jackson and Fraser Thomson) now in S3, then entered their project into the National Science and Engineering Awards, and they made it to the finals!
They went to Manchester last week to attend The Big Bang: UK Young Scientists' and Engineers' Fair. This was the exciting setting for the finals of the National Science & Engineering Competition, where 240 teams and individuals with the best...

Two reporters attended one of our rehearsals and spoke to myself, Mr Campbell, and 4 pupils from S2 - S6.
