Pupils and staff are getting into their stride this week as a sense of the new normal starts to embed itself: routines, safety measures, timetables and trust are being established to offer reassurance and connection.

A number of young people are still navigating their way which is to be expected and so we are listening and being sensitive to their needs while trying to reassure and instill the sense that Meadowpark is a safe and comfortable place to be where young people can connect with each other and the wider community. We continue to adhere to all local and national guidelines and will revisit these frequently as advice and evidence dictates. Already there seems to be suggestions that teenagers might catch or transmit Co-Vid 19 so we might on occasion encourage them to wear face coverings, although this is not yet mandatory. The quality and variety of activities being posted by Meadowpark teachers is inspiring and reflects the climate of learning just now, with Health and Wellbeing very much at the heart of all we do.
