This week has seen an increase in foot traffic through the building by pupils who have been undergoing transition and for whom our unique and supportive environment has enabled them to build confidence to request more time in their new classes. The soft start we had planned before the summer holidays has been crucial to the success of pupils reconnecting with the environment, staff and peers. Our numbers have been small on a daily basis and so we have had time to attend to any underlying anxieties and manage the necessary changes including face coverings, hand washing/sanitising and one-way system.
