Knox Academy

It has been another busy week for the Drama Department. On Monday, YDance, Scottish Youth Dance provided a workshop for S3 pupils based around the theme of "Anger". Pupils produced a 7 minute piece that included a choreographed dance routine, elements of Street Dance and Contemporary Dance as well as solo, pair and contact work. The YDance staff said the standard of dance at Knox Academy was very good and the pupils behaved well and were very creative. Read more about 27 April 2012

If you are asked "Would you like a Tesco School Voucher?". Last year you collected an amazing 11,500 vouchers which allowed for the development of S1 - 3 Fiction stock in the library.

The current total for this year stands at 989 and the English Department and Library are using this year's vouchers to develop the new "Bought the T-Shirt" section of the Library.

The Alice Burnett Twinning Scholarship which provides a month's work experience, including travel and accommodation, in Aubigny this summer has been awarded to Sarah Muir 6L. She will be going there early in July.
