The library will host an exhibition from East Lothian Museum Service for the next two weeks.

Rags to Riches highlights the lives of four emmigrants from East Lothian who all went on to a level of fame in their new home.

The exhibition focuses on John Ewart, David Syme, William Robertson Smith and Margaret Home Sievwright.

The Knox Academy Parent School Partnership will hold its February meeting on Wednesday 9 February 2011 starting at 6.15 pm. Immediately afterward, the Partnership will hold its AGM at 7.30 pm in the school library.

Please come along to both or either if you can. A report on the activities of the Partnership over the last year will be presented to the AGM and there will be an opportunity for parents to raise any matters.

As part of the Haddington Festival for 2011, Haddington Community Council are holding an East Lothian's Got Talent Contest during the Festival.

This is in aid of Leukaemia Research.

The S5/6 prelims have been taking place this week and run until 4 February. Study leave is now finished and all pupils return to normal timetable from 31 January, and they should be in all classes unless they are sitting an examination. Read more about 28 January 2011

Congratulations to 6th year Anna McKay for her recent outstanding success in a Grade 5 music theory exam where she gained distinction with an incredible 93% score! Well done Anna! Photographs will be available as 7x5 prints for 50p each.
