Three Knox students won the first and second place prizes for their work!

Congratulations to Delilah Brady (S2), who won first prize for her beautiful illustration and Emily Westgarth (S2) and Karis Hutchison (S3) who jointly won second place for their poem called "New Dawn".

These students will be receiving their prizes from the East Lothian Climate Hub next week.

ALL PUPILS: LOCKERS - MARCH 2025

We are removing quite a lot of the lockers through the school as most are not used.

If you have a locker please empty this by  next Friday 28 March 2025 at latest and hand your key to the office. Once the re-shuffle has taken place you can get a new locker and locker key (this will only take a few weeks). If you don’t empty your locker by next Friday you will risk losing whatever is inside it.

Happy World Book Day from Knox Library! 

Classes will be doing lots of lovely book related things, assemblies are being held to mark the occasion and the School Library will be hosting lots of activities and competitions throughout the day including; 

Book Bytes - pop in to learn more about how you can take part in a prestigious book award.

My Best Book - Take the chance to 'graffiti' our library windows with the title of your favourite book.

Booku - Try your hand at making fun Haiku poems from old book chapter titles. 

Book Cover Competition - Design your own book title, cover and blurb and be in with the chance of winning a priz

Bookish Quiz - Take the quiz and see how well your knowledge holds up with a prize for the most answers correct. 

Guess Who (Bookshelf Edition) - Match the staff member to their bookshelf and be in with the chance of winning a prize.
