On Friday 19 December 2025 we would like to invite pupils and staff to dress down/wear something festive to celebrate the end of term. For those who can, we would encourage pupils and staff to donate to Lammermuir Larder, in support of our recent work with this charity. Any donations should be handed in at registration on Friday.
On Thursday 4 December 2025, thirty of our S1 pupils enjoyed a truly enchanting experience at the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh, where they attended a performance of Cinderella. From the moment the curtain rose, the students were captivated by the stunning set design, vibrant costumes, and the fresh, imaginative twist on this classic tale.
The production was filled with laughter, music, and moments of pure magic, and it was wonderful to see our pupils so engaged throughout. Many commented on how much they loved the modern interpretation and the energy of the cast. For some, it was their first visit to a professional theatre, making the day even more special.
Trips like this are a fantastic way to bring literature and storytelling to life, and we’re delighted that our S1s had such a positive and memorable experience. A huge thank you to the staff who accompanied the group and helped make the day run smoothly. Ms Breslin

Please see attached the Knox Academy Christmas 2025 Lunch Menu. Students can pay for this as normal using their Young Scot card. Please ensure there is enough money on their account to cover the cost of their lunch. The lunch will take place in the canteen on Wednesday 10 December 2025.
The University of the Highlands and Islands is running an online information session for its BA (Hons) Applied Music degree on Wednesday 10 December 2025, from 6pm to 7pm.
The Applied Music course is mainly delivered online, so would suit anyone who would prefer to study music from home. We’re a multi-genre degree and will happily accept applications from performers on any instrument, as well as composers/producers and DAW-based musicians.

It’s that time of year again and the Knox Academy Festive Fayre will take place on Saturday 6 December from 10 am – 12 noon.
Our S1 Business and Administration pupils will be selling their products; there will be a café selling refreshments (all home-made). Music will be provided by the Knox Academy Jazz Band and the Goats’ Toes. Santa may even make an appearance!!! Please bring cash.
The event is organised by the National 5 Retail course, as part of their course.
