Job Title: Software and Web Developer Apprentice
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £120-£150 per week*
QA Apprenticeships is an award-winning apprenticeship provider.  We offer school and college leavers, who are passionate about IT, a challenging, rewarding and quick route into a successful career.  We are actively recruiting for Apprentices to start in Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
QA's Software and Web Development Apprenticeship combines several weeks of QA technical training, with a full time developer from the start of your apprenticeship.  When your programme ends you'll be qualified, with a year of experience and in a great position to build your career in IT further.

- Website Developer
- Smartphone App Developer
- Software Developer/Programmer
We supply business apprenticeships for the following companies:

- Cisco
- Atos

During your training you will study the following certifications:
- Microsoft Technology Associate in Software Development Fundamentals
- Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) Java SE7 Programmer
- City and Guilds Certificate in IT Systems and Principles
- City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence
Plus you'll also learn general professional development and communication skills through work-based training and assessments.
Entry requirements for a Software and Web Development Modern Apprenticeship:
- 7 Standard Grades at level 1-3 or equivalent, including Maths and English
- A passion/enjoyment for software/programming
- An enthusiasm to gain full time employment
