On Friday 16 December the school will be holding a "Dress Up Friday" Christmas style event in order to raise money for the Haddington Christmas lights and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Following an amber alert from the Met Office and the Scottish Government, it is with great regret that the "Dance Another Day" Disco has been postponed once again.

There will be a back to school/New Year disco on Tuesday 17 January 2012.

We are very sorry for the disappointment this will cause.

The "Dance Another Day" Disco due to have taken place last night is truly living up to its name!

Last Thursday, World Aids Day, pupils and staff purchased red ribbons to advertise and support this worthy cause. The breakdown of the funds raised was: National AIDS Trust - £59.98, Waverley Care - £77.41 with a Total of £137.39. Congratulations to all involved.  Read more about 9 December 2011

Knox Academy reopens to pupils today after yesterday's severe weather.

Parents/Carers are advised to listen to Radio Forth, and keep up-to-date with the East Lothian Council website for infomation regarding future incidents of extreme weather conditions which may result in schools being closed.  Read more about SCHOOL OPEN

Due to the severe weather warnings for high winds on Thursday afternoon, all East Lothian schools are to close at noon today, Thursday 8 December.

On the advice of the Scottish Government, schools in East Lothian will close early to allow pupils to travel home safely before severe winds hit the area on Thursday afternoon.  All schools will close at 12 noon.

School to home transport arrangements will be put in place for those pupils who normally use this service. Read more about ALL SCHOOLS TO CLOSE AT NOON
