The Brunton Summer School, in association with David Ross, is delighted to announce this year’s musical production:
CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION
This summer, young performers will step into the world of Chicago, a bold, fast‑paced musical packed with iconic jazz music, sharp choreography, and big characters. This is a high‑energy, confidence‑building production that challenges participants to grow as performers while working as part of a professional, supportive ensemble.
Chicago: Teen Edition is not a fairy tale. It is stylish, theatrical, and full of attitude, offering an exciting opportunity for young people who enjoy singing, dancing, and acting whether they specialise in one discipline or love doing all three.
Audition Information
Date: Sunday 17 May
Time: 12.30pm – 4.00pm
Location: Haddington Corn Exchange
Auditions are group-based, relaxed and workshop-style, designed to help participants feel comfortable and confident.
There is nothing to prepare in advance. During the audition session, participants will:
- Take part in short acting exercises
- Join a vocal warm-up and sing music from the show
- Learn and perform a short section of choreography

Dates: Monday 27 July – Saturday 8 August
Location: Haddington Corn Exchange
Cost: £240 per participant

Suitable for young people aged 11-18.
