Hi, it's Lauren and Oscar, its been a very busy start back to the new term and we hope everyone is feeling settled in. As some of you may know its World Mental Health Day this Monday (10/10/22) and as the Head Pupil Leadership Team we want to share some resources to help anyone who is struggling with their mental health. One resource we really recommend is Mind , Mind is an amazing resource full of information on how to cope with different aspects of your mental health, but also shows you that you are not alone, it has resources to offer help to those who are supporting someone with mental health problems too. We would also like to direct you to the ‘Mental Health and Well Being Information’ section on the school website which can be found under the tab 'School Info', we very recently updated this with the help of our school Mental Health Councilor Michael.
The theme of 2022's World Mental Health Day has been set by the World Federation for Mental Health is 'Make mental health and well being for all a global priority'. Mental Health is hugely important to us as a school, World Mental Health Day is also a chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and to reach out if you are struggling. As prelims approach for our senior pupils, we understand first-hand how stressful they are, please take care of yourself and allow yourself some ME time too!
