FESTIVE FAYRE - MY NAME'5 DODDIE FOUNDATION

One week ago, Knox Academy held a Festive Fayre on Saturday 10 December 2022. The expectations were high!  When the day came, everyone had the same ambition: to have success, fun and make a profit. I decided that everything I made was going to the “My Name’5 Doddie Foundation’’. The foundation is a charity set up by Doddie Weir, an ex-Scotland rugby player, and is all about finding a cure for MND (Motor Neuron Disease). MND is NOT a contagious infection that can be spread. It is a disease in which your muscles slowly waste away until your lungs fail, and you sadly die. This is a curable disease, but it is underfunded and with more money they may find a cure and possibly sooner. I raised £302 for this cause, and it is all thanks to every one that donated, took a flyer or even just saw the stand. None of it would have been possible without help from the My Name’5 Doddie Team and if you want to get in contact with them email info@myname5doddie.co.uk and check out their website My Name'5 Doddie Foundation | MND Charity. Every donation counts - thanks for your support.
