Parents’ Evening S3

If you were unable to make this evening for any reason, please do contact the House Team so we can get some feedback for you on your young person’s performance.

PTA – Help Needed

The PTA is looking for volunteers to support the Tuck Shop and Cloakroom at the S4–S6 Valentine’s Disco on Thursday, 12th February. The event runs from 7pm to 9pm.

If you’re available and would like to help, please email the PTA at kasupportgroup@ka-net.org.uk

Pupils’ Successes

Knox Academy X-Country Championships

Our Knox X- Country Champs were held last week, and although a bit chilly, 125 pupils managed to dodge the rain! All competitors were fantastic and really respectful of each other as they ran ‘The River Route’. Every competitor got a House token for participating and there was a super atmosphere. Racing was very competitive with a good few races finished with a contested sprint.

Individual Champions at each level were:

S1                         Max Rutherford    Marielle Neilson

S2                         Lucas Hardie     Branna Kenny

S3                         Jack Fraser            Emily Westgarth

Seniors 4/5/6 -Freddy Fendick  Aifric Fisher

Alongside the race we have been collecting house points, twice a week, rewarding effort over the Cross country block since the start of term and keeping a count on our notice boards outside the PE base.

The results of those and additions for the race day entries are as follows:

Garelton  1st - 484              Lammerlaw  2nd -  392             Traprain 3rd 338
