KNOX GRAPHICS PUPILS EXHIBITION AT QUEEN MARGARET UNIVERSITY

Queen Margret University – Digital Design and Graphics KNOX ACADEMY Partnership SHOWCASE Exhibition

10am – 2pm Saturday the 7th of Nov.

The Senior Graphics class has visited QMU and attended a workshop in the Digital Design and Graphics Degree course studio, which had not been used by QMU students, we were the first to use it !

The degree is now fully running in the University and our trip was to be AMBITIOUS and show that KNOX pupils may attend such a course in the future. If they don’t achieve the Highers required for entry, an alternative route is an HNC at college then join the degree.

The workshop KNOX pupils attended before the October break, was a taser session on what the Digital Design and Graphics degree learning would be like in the first few weeks.

The Lecturers then set a design brief – an LP Record Album Sleeve – which learners are working on now. The KNOX learners finished designs will be on display at the upcoming QMU Open Day. The exhibition will be open to the general public, please attend and admire the KNOX pupils creative skills !

10am – 2pm Saturday the 7th of Nov.
