Our Living World (Part 2)

This topic starts off by looking at ways of grouping living organisms. In Biology this is called 'classification'. We then see how one organism may rely on others to survive by eating plants and other animals to gain energy to live. We also see how different plants and animals compete with each other to get more food or water or even space. Sometimes plants and animals have to change the way they live as the conditions around them change. What will happen to them if the can't adapt to these changes? Can plants and animals change the way the look in order to survive? What do some animals do to survive the winter? Can plants and animals cope with pollution. All these questions and others are answered in this section of 'Our Living World'.
