Our Living World (Part 1)

This topic is about all living things. We start by finding out how we decide ifsomething is living or not with the help of someone called Mrs Gren. Once we know if something is alive we can have a close look at their cells - the building blocks for life that all plants and animals are made from. We even take a look at our own cells using a microscope. We have different cells that do different jobs, many of them working together building up the various systems that keep us alive. Exercise helps keeps us alive too and we find out the part that our heart and lungs play in this. In order for all plants and animals to survive for many generations they need to reproduce and we find out how this takes place in both plants and animals.
