Several Knox Academy hockey players have been selected in East Lothian squads after attending trials at Meadowmill Sports Centre.

Girls Development Squad

Katie Archibald, Erin Craig, Ailish Kelly & Holly Taylor (U16), Claire Craig, Katie Irving, Rosie Kelly, Olivia Massie, Hannah Metcalfe, Katie Meikle, Robbie Murray & Charlie Riddell

Girls Potential Squad

Emily Baxter, Carla Jack, Eilidh McSporran & Naomi Rogers (U16)

Boys Development Squad

Peter Gilmour, Angus Riddle & Fraser Watt (U16), Ewan Jack, Fraser Leonard, Douglas Meikle, Dean Riva & Lewis Rollo (U14)

The players will now receive additional coaching from East Lothian Hockey Development Ofiicer Fiona Harfield on Friday afternoons and play fixtures against other regions and private schools thoughout the year. Congrtulations to all players selected.

Meanwhile, an S1-S3 mix defeated Ross High 3-1 recently. It was a strong performance by the group coming off the back of narrow defeats to PL at S2/S3 and senior level. Below is a picture of some of the players with coaches Daniel Hogarth and Kevin Barrie.
