Scottish Power Engineering Foundation Programme
The aim of the programme is to equip students with the skills and qualifications required to progress to an apprenticeship with Scottish Power. Training will take place at Edinburgh College, Dalkeith Campus with addition job-specific training at Scottish Power’s Cumbernauld training centre.
Applicants should have or expect to have a minimum of two Standard Grades at level 1-3 in maths and English or a science and should be interested in a career in engineering. They should also be self motivated and have the ability to problem solve, communicate effectively with others and show continuous improvement as part of their own self development.
Students will receive an allowance of £200 per month and be provided with personal protective equipment.
Applicants will sit an occupational test and have a competency based interview. Tests will take will take place between 11 March and 1 April. Interviews will be held between 1 April and 3 May.
