Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) is hosting two course specific events in the coming months that pupils may be interested in.

On 20th March, SRUC and the Scottish Racing Academy will officially launch the first course in Racehorse Care available in Scotland with an event at Musselburgh Racecourse. This event is an opportunity to find out more about career opportunities in the horse racing industry and learn more about the NC in Horse Care (Racehorse Care specialism). The course will be delivered at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre at SRUC Oatridge campus. Any pupil wishing to attend should contact info@Scottishracingacademy.scot or info@careersinracing.com to secure their place on the big day.

On 29th April, SRUC Edinburgh is holding an Environment Taster Day at the King’s Buildings campus from 5pm – 7.30pm. This event will involve a practical workshop to test atmospheric quality using lichen and will also be an opportunity to find out more about the range of courses in Countryside and Environmental Management at SRUC. Pupils interested can book a place via www.sruc.ac.uk/edinburghopendays.

If you have any questions about either of the events, please feel free to get in touch with SRUC or speak to Mr Flood.
