The SQA has been asked by the Deputy First Minister to develop an alternative certification model.
To make sure it’s a fair reflection of your performance¸ the government has said your grade will be based on information from your teachers’ judgement, using:
- any units and coursework that are completed, and estimated grades provided by teachers, drawing on the available evidence gathered throughout the year
- prior attainment information, where available
SQA are aiming to have results with students no later than 4 August 2020.
