We are going to have an extended registration this Friday ( 24 September 2021) in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Friday will be a dress down day and pupils should wear something green or purple in support.

Tesco Haddington have made a very kind donation for me to go and buy some goodies for registration classes.

What you need to do:

  • Donate £1 or whatever you can afford on your way into school in the morning.
  • Bring cake to registration.
  • Wear something green or purple.
  • Get your family and friend involved and send in their pictures so we can put them on the school’s Twitter account.
  • Eat! And take pictures.

Have a great day.

All staff and pupils are entitled to download Microsoft Office for free to use while in education.  This could save you a substantial sum of money!

In order to activate you will need your Glow Login (you may not know what this is) - speak with Mr Dempster who will give you the details you need.

Visit to download the software prior to activation.

Note any files created with the downloaded software will become read-only when you leave school, and you won’t be able to create any new ones. The software checks regularly for the continued existence of the Glow-based subscription. Once you leave school and disappear from current SEEMiS student records, the account is closed. At that point you would be prompted to pay for a normal subscription in order to be able to edit your files again.

Well done all prize winners

Well done on gaining your prize and gaining your place at the school Awards Ceremony. As you know this year our ceremony will be a series of photographs added to a video, with voice overs to create a digital experience for the school community to enjoy. To help make this happen, we would ask that pupils attend a photo session at the times outlined below. There are a small number of pupils who have not been given consent for us to share their photograph. Please do not worry we are happy to take the photographs, but will not share them or use them as part of the video. Teachers are aware and should release you from class once you have registered at the times outlined below. Please remember the year group refers to the year you were in last session (as this is a prize for your work last year). E.g. If you are now in S2, you will be referred to as S1 in the list below.

Tuesday 7 September

  • Period 1 – All S1 Garleton Prize Winners
  • Period 2 – All S2 Garleton Prize Winners
  • Period 3 – All S3 Garleton Prize Winners

Wednesday 8 September

  • Period 1 – All S1 Lammerlaw Prize Winners
  • Period 2 – All S2 Lammerlaw Prize Winners

  • Period 2 – All S2 Traprain Prize Winners
  • Period 3 – All S3 Traprain Prize Winners and all Senior Special Awards (not subject specialist awards)

Thursday 9 September

  • Period 6 – All S4 Subject Prize Winners
  • Period 7 – All S5/S6 Subject Prize Winners

Please meet at the main door (front entrance of the school) in full school uniform directly after you have registered with your teacher for that period.

Many thanks and I look forward to seeing you then,

Mrs Falconer
