The Eco-Committee will be back in action this year to renew Knox Academy’s Eco-Schools Green Flag. We will plan environment-oriented events and projects for Knox Academy throughout the year. We need students to get involved in helping making these projects a reality! The Eco-Committee relies on all the wonderful ideas of Knox students!

If you'd like to join the Eco-Committee, come along to our first meeting! We want students from all year groups and we'll meet in Ms. Laudi's room (T1.2 - modern languages) on Monday 5 September 2022 at lunch time starting at 1:15pm. Feel free to bring your lunch along! If you have any questions, see Ms. Laudi or Miss Halliwell.

As discussed at assemblies (w/c 22 August 2022), the Pupil Leadership Team (PLT) are looking to put together a Pupil Council for the 2022-2023 session. This will involve coming to a meeting with representatives from different year groups, to discuss suggestions to be made around the school, making changes for the better. You will get some time out of class to attend these meetings however you are expected to bring some of your own ideas or ideas from others in your year group. Meetings will be held monthly.

The PLT are looking for keen individuals who are willing to discuss differing ideas in a mature way. Attendance is necessary at meetings.

If you were out of school during the assemblies or were unable to get a form at the end and want to be a part of the Pupil Council, please Email 'ka17opirie@edubuzz.org' with your:

  • Full Name
  • Class and Year Group
  • A couple of sentences on why you think you would be one of the ideal picks for your year group

Once complete, please hand into the school office before 2 September 2022.

As part of the Pupil Leadership Team's promise to take feedback and suggestions from all pupils around the school, there will be an anonymous Google Forms where pupils and staff can submit any suggestions, comments or feedback to be considered around the school. This is a great way for your voice to be heard and for suggestion you make to be appointed around the building.
