This Friday will be a 'Dress Down' day in order to support the school’s winning YPI (Youth and Philanthropy Initiative) team in raising money for the East Lothian Foodbank. Around 1/3 of children in our community currently live below the poverty line and the Foodbank is a vital support to those who need help when times are hard. On Friday please 'dress down' and pay £1, or as much as you can afford, to help us to support others in our community.

Thanks for your support

World Thinking Day or Founder's Day is celebrated every year around the world on the 22nd of February by Girlguides and Scouts. The day is marked in order to increase awareness of the two organisations and as it was the birthday of Scouting and Guiding founder Lord Robert Baden-Powell and of Lady Olave Baden-Powell, his wife and World Chief Guide.

This year all Knox pupils and staff involved in guiding and scouting are invited to come to school on Thursday 22nd February wearing official uniform or trip associated uniform. Lets celebreate together the benefits of being involved in Guiding/Scouting and how wonderful these two organisations really are!!

Anyone who is not involved in Guiding/Scouting in East Lothian and would like to find out more should speak to Miss McBride for more information.
