Seeing as it is the season of giving, we feel it is only right to give to our local community this Christmas. There will be a Christmas Jumper Day on Tuesday 20 December 2022 which will be raising money for Archie Hamilton, a Knox pupil who is currently fighting against a rare type of bone cancer, and also Our Community Kitchen which will help to deliver home cooked food to those who need it most.

Please if you can, bring in a donation to make this possible and to support those who need it most.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

The Knox Academy magazine team has been working hard on this month's issue of the school magazine and we are proud to present the final result!  Below is an e-copy of the first issue of the "Knox Academy Official School Magazine".  This is the first time, in a number of years, that a magazine has been put together and published by pupils in the School.

The magazine is currently being run by a group of S6 pupils who have volunteered to work on this during their S6 Core period. The work involves writing articles, editing and publishing the e-magazine; not to mention the teamwork and organisation that goes with it. Contributions from other pupils around the school have also been made and we hope pupils continue to submit their own pieces. This is an excellent opportunity for any pupils interested in journalism or any career that involves writing or publishing. It's also a great opportunity to hear about the amazing things that the various pupils at Knox Academy get up to.

Please enjoy our hard work. Feedback is welcome!

Thank you

World AIDS Day takes place on the 1st December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day. Pupils will be learning about this today in registration. Click on the link to learn more about it.
