New year means a new block of sport in PE!
As with previous years this marks the start of our cross country running block. We do this with all S1-S3 Core PE classes from now until February break. All pupils are encouraged to participate with their best effort - this is the emphasis! The block is all about personal challenge and resilience, with the idea that each pupil will do their best and try to improve their pace as the weeks go on.
To be prepared for the Scottish weather please remember to bring appropriate clothing. A suggestion would be, as a minimum, to ensure you have a spare pair of socks and footwear. A jacket, gloves and hat are also highly recommended.
Pupils performing at a high standard will be invited to represent the school at the East Lothian Cross Country Championships on 5th February.
